As is often the case, we had a pleasant experience, until something went wrong. Our car was damaged during transport. We understand that the jarring a car receives on a cross country trek is a consideration. However, the inside door was damaged, and the response (when we finally got one) was that it is our dime to fix it. Then our antique buffet table was broken. The driver was incredibly apologetic and submitted paperwork immediately. However, Atlas was slow at responding. Twice they ignored our emails. Finally we threatened legal action, then we heard our claim was denied. They said our table was damaged before although they did acknowledge that they never saw our table. We sent pictures and our claim was still denied. It is 6 weeks since we moved and sadly we will involve our attorney. Atlas would have been a great company if nothing had gone wrong. Movers beware, One can reasonable expect that with any move, something will be broken or will go awry. The proof of a good company is when they responds in a timely and reasonable fashion.

I originally rated Atlas well. When packing in Las Vegas they seemed to be professional and thorough. When I took delivery in NC I was slow to unpack. Actually I’m still not completely finished. In summary almost all my furniture was damaged in some form and several items were missing. Because I didn’t have the time to unpack quickly most of the items I will not be compensated for. I would warn against Atlas if asked.

The crew were friendly and punctual. They performed work quickly and well. Price was reasonable as well.

My relocation was booked by my company. I had to put a hold on the move because of the recent stay-at-home situation affecting travel. The hold and rescheduling happened very smoothly and they accommodated me at every step. Packing crew were fast and professional, not to mention very friendly. The delivery crew were also very friendly and helpful. Lana kept in regular contact and provided me with updates on the way. Overall great experience, the only downside being that the delivery crew was a couple hours late because of a hold up at their previous customer’s place.

I had the choice of 3 major moving companies with my new work — I read reviews before choosing who I went with… but Atlas ended up working the best with my crazy schedule and short timeline in order to get my items and car moved within 3-4 weeks. Overall, the 3 men who packed up my stuff (bed, nightstand, sofa set, bookshelf, bins of clothings, kitchen items, glass items, and more) wrapped it so well that nothing was damaged. The agent who I dealt with was great and she always kept me informed about a projected time frame for delivery. And the man and his daughter who drove my stuff across the country and delivered it were so amazing and trustworthy. Despite what others have said, I feel like I lucked out with movers for my first time… just give your options a call, ask your questions, and you’ll be fine.
