Moved from England to Australia with my partner. Chose crown as the sales guy was great and we bought into him despite the price being much higher. Poor decision. Customer services are poor and slow. Packing was shocking. Many breakages with shoulders shrugged when I complained. Shop around. Do not pay top dollar for a below par service.

Moved NZ to UK…do not use appalling service, they came and packed, loaded into container, I asked for it to be sealed and was then told this is not our container but our contents would be going to Dunedin unpacked to wait for another container they forgot to order therefore contents sat somewhere for 3 weeks, finally container left arrived UK and got a letter to say would not deliver due to covid 19 (had container left in time there would not have been any lockdown issues) and wanted to charge exorbitant storage, unpacking of the container into storage, re packing and delivery despite the fact we had paid for a full delivery service and unpacking. But as doing twice they wanted to charge. We then requested they deliver container and we would unpack as that was no different than them collecting and unpacking at storage in fact a safer option as this was no contact at all…after much complaining they finally did this, wanted me to
sign a very poorly written waiver accepting liability for their staff!!! Refused this finally delivered otherwise we would be in empty house for two months, communication was appalling, no tracking provided as they promised, finally managed to get a refund if £250 as they did not unpack. Unpacked and found that the packing staff in NZ had damaged goods during packing ie ear missing off large wooden rocking horse..piece not in packing so obviously done during packing and hidden, other items the same…guess that’s what happens if you employ university students as your packers..This company is a joke do not use they are just unprofessional, cannot communicate, have to continually chase for responses should have used Pickfords who have used in the past and the move UK to NZ who are professionals

Very poor service. Slow in responding to inquiries and after having received their relocation offer we couldn’t get in contact with them.

I asked Crown to take care of my moving from London to Singapore and I have been extremely disappointed for below reasons:
– I had to send several emails to make them work on my quote, edit it. I was the one who was moving forward to make things done.
– Expensive quote compared to others without any quality reasons based on below comments.
– They asked another provider White company to take care of my moving without letting me know… Meaning the day of the pick up, I had to open my door to a company I’ve never heard of.
– White company’s delivery wasn’t good. They didn’t have any cutter to open my boxes. So they didn’t take any empty boxes. I had a bike they dismantled they haven’t been able to reassemble because of above reason.
I used Crown when I moved from Singapore to London and it was good but for this moving service was terrible. I will never use Crown again. Don’t recommend it

Used Crown in 1996 and in 2000 (Australia to London to HK) – they were good in those days. Used again 2018 – with delivery in 2019 – Moved from Sydney to Kent. Many items of furniture smashed. Light fitting – glass piece lost – irreplaceable. Items that were supposed to be crated were not. Grand piano supposedly collected by specialist team – who removed the lid so carelessly, hinges completely bent. Arrived with no protective covering and damage to polished lid. Paid for whole container but two lorries arrived to collect things and same at other end – clear that things had been moved around several times so no way was one container used. Little packing material around furniture. Re the damage, I had to deal with getting quotes for all repairs etc – Crown does nothing. At Sydney end Packers had used a code to say every single wooden item was scratched – this was an outright lie. I did not understand the codes in the forms – nothing explained. UK end seemed better.Cannot recommend them – use them at your peril – shocking company. Will not be using ever again.
