We moved out of state from Illinois to Arizona. Our items were in local storage with ********* for 1 month. The majority of our furniture arrived damaged. I was told that my items would be loaded into vaults at my home, they were not. When your items are in storage the moving blankets are removed because the ********* crew needs their blankets back. My delivery was delayed by 2 weeks, so the unprotected items sat on the warehouse floor. The driver for ****** had to re wrap my items, so I am sure time is a factor in the lack of care given. Mine was the second half of a truck load. After they could not cram it all on, I ended up with two deliveries. Yes, the second load had even more damage than the first. Then the delivery team pointed out a dirty trick on my bill of lading. Every piece of furniture was coded as damaged, stained, worn, scratched. My brand new heavy duty moving boxes were all listed as crushed. They know you can not prove which crew damaged the items, so no care is given. Oh and good luck with the insurance you bought from ********* It has been 5 months since my move and I get the run around every time I call for help.
