I called United and was farmed out to Mesa. The front office was super professional. The packers, however, failed miserably. First, they broke things with me feet away and didn’t say a word. First item was a glass item in the kitchen. I heard it and to my dismay they packed whatever they had broken. (Later, we discovered it was a wine glass but it was really fun going through boxes and knowing somewhere was broken glass).
I also went into my room while they were packing and discovered that the only thing not packed was an air purifier. When I brought it out they said they weren’t putting it in a box. Then, I watched them put three boxes on a dolly and the air purifier on top….and then drop the air purifier on our cement front porch later.
They didn’t just destroy my personal belongings….they also broke my laundry room door getting my washer out (and didn’t say a word) and damaged the walls for the new owners of the house.
My husband was killed in Iraq….they destroyed several glass memorials to him. They packed two of his irreplaceable mugs with zero paper with flowers from his funeral. (The flowers are now obviously broken into pieces)
They packed my wedding bouquet at the bottom of 40 pounds of Pyrex. It’s destroyed.
They appear to have dropped my night stand. It’s destroyed beyond repair.
I had an antique Virgin Mary statue from the 20s. They crushed her face. She has no nose anymore.
My husband, before he was killed, gave my oldest son a ride on tank. They broke off one of the controls. They destroyed a figurine that my husband gave me.
They were supposed to pack one day and then load the truck the next day. It turned into a three day event despite having a contract and us telling them we were leaving to go states away the third day.
We were a military family so we moved quite a bit in the past. I’ve never seen anything like this. I’ve never seen people who couldn’t wrap things in paper. I mean, it seems fairly easy. It is SO BAD it seems delibrate.
They destroyed things that are irreplaceable.We haven’t even unpacked everything but I can’t even bear to see what else they destroyed.
Mesa Moving is so bad they seem to be doing this on purpose. I wouldn’t recommend this company if value your personal belongings.

The scheduling and initial contact went well but….If you’re looking for well trained and ambitious movers, DON’T call Mesa. They’re paid hourly, so speed and efficiency are not a priority.
If there is a problem and you’re hoping for a reasonable resolution, DON’T call Mesa. They promise to look into issues but aren’t willing to stand behind their service.

Worst experience ever. This is the company that the military provides its members for moving when changing duty stations. I scheduled for them to pack up my apartment 2 weeks before i even moved. I was given a guaranteed delivery date of 8/10. It is now 8/17 and I still do not have my stuff. When I called to see what’s going on they told me 8/24 is the earliest they can have it delivered to my new apartment! Then a few days later I receive a message saying never mind the 27th is the earliest. Mind you I have already moved my vacation because of them and now the 27th falls on a day when I will be on my trip. I sent them a message back asking to speak to a manager and explaining how I am being extremely inconvenienced by their company and I have not received a reply a day later. I’ve been sleeping on an air mattress for over a month now and staying in an empty apartment. I am extremely disappointed. Unfortunately this is the company the military has to use, but if you can help it… avoid this place at ALL cost!

I have moved using national providers 5 times, this was the absolute worst experience that I have ever had. The person that came to offer a quote was very good, prompt, courteous and very professional. That is where the positive experience ended. We moved long distance in July of 2019 and have JUST finished dealing with the aftermath of a horrific experience (April 2020). The crew that boxed and loaded our possessions damaged our hardwood floors by not placing protection down (even after we asked) that was fun, we got to turn over a mess to the new owners to deal with. 90% of our furniture was damaged, chunks our of wooden tables, chunks out of bed frames, our white mattresses were dirty, carpets that were rolled up and half covered with plastic (they ran out) were ruined, Gas grill damaged (smashed), boxes were poorly packed and items within damaged (interestingly all of the boxes that we packed ourselves were fine). The transport and paperwork was a complete mess that took hours to sort out while we were supposed to be making our way out of town. The delivery on the receiving end was a disaster, we were scheduled for a 3 day window (not sure how you are supposed to plan on help with a 3 day window) then 1 day before the window we were told it would be another week or two because they did not have a driver. I mean this was the worst experience I have ever had. We chose this provider by reading reviews here so I felt I owed it to YOU (the reader) to warn you off. We interviewed 3 other providers and this was NOT the least expensive option, I don’t mind paying a little more for what I thought was going to be a better quality of service… could not have been more wrong. The claims process was just okay, I mean it’s just so frustrating that the best part of this move was dealing with the estimator and the claims people. If i was still in the area I would NEVER use this company again. Good luck to you with your move…

Cheri did and Maisie in the job organizing my big move. She consistently send detailed information on what to expect and called me each step of the way to make sure everything is being handled as communicated. I don’t know how Cheri does it, but she’s amazing! Tony was our driver and packer. Tony was very personable and accommodating. Thank you to the Mesa Moving & Storage team you exceeded my expectations.
