Our actual packing day was fine. I felt bad for the guys because the person that came to do the pre-move inspection of our belongings grossly underestimated how much we had. There were three guys and it took them all day. They worked hard, we provided breakfast and lunch as well as tipping them $20 each at the end. We thought all was good until our belongings were delivered on the mainland. They didn’t seal two of our crates properly and half of our belongings were soaked in Hawaii then grew mold during the transfer. We can’t salvage this stuff from water damage and mold. So whoever was responsible for securing the crates failed big time. This was our first government contracted move in 14 years that we have experienced such problems. Yes we can file a claim but these were our personal belongings and things we’ve collected throughout the world. It’s devastating to see your things arrive in such bad condition that shows how little this company actually cares.

Once again I used Pacific Transfer for my move. Brandon has been a wonderful help every inch of the way. He is knowledgeable and very trustworthy. The crew he sent to do the move were professional, efficient, hard-working, and very careful. I could not have asked for a better outcome.
