The load, move, and unload was great. The guys who loaded and unloaded were awesome. Very professional and very efficient. The original ETA was at least a week span but the day after the load the driver called and gave me the exact arrival date which was very early in the span. The only flaw was the original estimate. It was done virtually so I understood the potential flaws in that. But the estimate on weight was about 25% to low. Beyond that I was very pleased with everything.

Great customer service and professionalism in moving my household goods safely on an interstate move! Desiree and Janet were very organized in quoting my moving estimate and in communicating and coordinating necessary information for my move. Also, John (my driver) along with Joe and Juan did an awesome job of loading, delivering, and unloading of all my household goods! Thanks so much for meeting my expectations and providing great customer service. I will definitely recommend your business!!

We hired Allied (Piepho Moving & Storage) to complete a cross country move from Minnesota to Florida. The representative that provided our estimate was professional & kind. We were packing ourselves and boxes & materials were provided in a timely fashion by the company. Our first issue arose when the company came to pick up our belongings & we were informed that every item would be transferred to a storage facility before being packed on to another semi prior to the cross country transfer. We then discovered that the agreed upon time of arrival was off by 4 days—>instead of the guaranteed arrival of 4 days, we were going to be waiting an additional 4 days for delivery of our items. We contacted our moving representative & after some researching he informed us that he had ‘confused’ us with another client that had a similar name. Due to that error we were told the wrong date of delivery. Upon final delivery of our household belongings we identified multiple boxes damaged-collapsed & smashed in. Due to the multiple relocations our household items & boxes incurred there would be no way to know at what point the damage occurred. Upon final completion of unpacking we had multiple damaged items & due to the self-packing we only submitted items that we were assured would be covered in the claims process. We had brand new wicker furniture-damaged, a 55″ TV-broken (2 years old), a higher end road bike with major damage, a self-lit Christmas tree (2 years old) in which the lights no longer worked. What we didn’t even attempt to recover were multiple damaged pictures, a broken mirror, a broken bird bath & many broken dishes. We knew we probably had an uphill battle to collect, but I was actually shocked & disappointed that there was virtually no monetary accountability in the recovery process. The company, Sirva, working with our claims ONLY paid $300.00 towards the entire recovery. Our smart TV was packed in a company provided-55″ appropriate TV box with cardboard & styrofoam and Sirva would not cover this loss. I communicated via several emails that the packing process would have not been any different if an Allied packer had packed it. It was broken along the way, while handled by an Allied representative. The almost complete lack of resolution during the claims process was unacceptable. I have moved professionally two other times, with different companies & had acceptable experiences. The unsatisfactory claims process along with the very delayed delivery of our household goods due to an error is why I cannot recommend using this company.

My stuff got broken

My stuff was all broken ! I got my household goods delivered today. I had over 20 containers dented and broken and crushed. The driver showed up with only 2 skinny workers to unload 10k pounds. Veronica works the phones at this company told me all drivers only use 2 unloaders which is a lie. My stuff was packed up with 6 workers and a driver. She seemed like she couldn’t careless and talked smart to me on the phone and basically said oh well, Very unprofessional . I’m very unhappy with this company. I paid for my household goods to be delivered intact, they were not. I would advise you to go with another shipping company unless you want your good broken like me !

Let’s face it, moving is not any fun. With a new addition to the family we needed more space. Packing everything up and getting your buddies to help you on a weekend isn’t enjoyable for you or them. This is the first time I’ve used a moving company and after getting quotes from half a dozen companies I settled with Piepho. My representative was a man named Paul and I felt like he went out of his way to accommodate my family and coordinating with me so that my house could be packed and moved in the most efficient way possible. Not a scratch on anything and nothing broken or damaged. Couldn’t recommend Piepho more. I filed Paul’s business card away for when the day come that I need to move again.
