lack of customer service
Sirva Worldwide Relocation and Moving was contracted to move my family from California to Texas in the summer. When our personal items were delivered there were numerous issues with items broken and missing. We filed the claims for these items and were issued the standard refund of $350 for some of them however our televisions and refrigerator have not been addressed because Sirva states that there is no physical damage in case of the televisions and in regards to the refrigerator, the reps for Sirva refused to repair or issue a check for these items because and I quote “there was no physical damage” and Sirva does not deal with internal damages.
The crew was very good, helpful and they knew exactly what they were doing. They provided good service and they were great.
I found all the guys very courteous. I don’t like the 4 day window they give for the pickup and delivery.
The coordinator and the entire process. They gave me good notice of any changes. There was no stress and it was a great experience. I would like to use them in the future.
Our leather loveseat was in perfect condition when it left our home in Pennsylvania. One of the movers walked across the blanket they were wrapping it in with salt and snow from the driveway. After sitting on the moving truck for several weeks, an area of the leather was damaged by the salt. Representatives from SIRVA insisted that I use a leather repairman who was rude and unprofessional to me on the phone. He actually said to me, “how do you know the movers did it?” He also insisted that it would take a couple trips and he would need to take part of my loveseat for 10 days to 3 weeks. He wasn’t even interested in seeing photos of the damage before driving 4 hours round trip just to look at it. The furniture store where we purchased the loveseat less than 2 years ago recommended a company that would fix it in one trip. The two representatives we spoke to at SIRVA were also extremely rude and unprofessional. They were not willing to find an acceptable compromise
